Well done to everyone that ran, link to results below, I’ll
tidy up in the next couple of days! Also we will post out the medals to seniors
soon – once we can rescue them from the harbour!
There were loads of photos taken as well , so I’ll also let
you know how to get hold of them shortly....
Tues
13/5 We now have 355 half marathon entries, with 96
visitors, also 96 are entered for the 2 mile junior race. It’s not too
late to enter still .... but you are cutting it a bit fine! We will post your
race number and information leaflet back to you if you are local and we receive
either an on-line or posted entry (for half marathon or junior race) from you
before 8:00 p.m. this Wednesday.
Any received later than that we will still accept but you will need to
pick up your number at the start on race day as we don’t want it stuck in
the post somewhere. The Late entry
fee is now payable for both races – so £20 for the half marathon or
£10 for the junior race.
PLEASE NOTE – Late entries on Sunday at the start accepted
for HALF MARATHON ONLY. Last year
we had 60+ entries on the day, so arrive in good time as there will be a queue!
As it’s now very likely, if you include expected entries on
the day as well, that we will have over 500 entries between both races this
could be the highest number entered for many years ...so we are all set for a
great 20th race...See you Sunday!!
