Photos Race Entry Course Results History

Sun 17/5
What a fantastic day, well done to everyone that ran today. I
guess the Weather Gods smiled relatively favourably on us all in the end, as at
least you got to fight the wind in the sunshine!!
A big thank you also to all of you that turned out to help and
made the event possible and such a huge success again
A link to the provisional results is below, you’ll see there are
just a few runners whose numbers were missed at the line, with 388 finishers in
the half and 108 in the junior race it got quite hectic for our brilliant
timekeepers at the finish...!!
Some great pictures taken as well!....click on the link
below. Not everyone, but there are quite
a few of you enjoying? the last mile in!
Keep an eye out as Gil is hoping to add a few more over the coming days

Wow! It’s been a busy last week for entries, which look like
reaching the highest level for 20 years at this rate! We now have 422 entries for the half
marathon, including 104 visitors which is brilliant! Also the junior race has
109 entries.
Entry to the half marathon is now only available before 8:30
a.m. on Sunday race day, just go to the late entry desk at the start where the
charge is now £20.
However the junior race entries are now closed as this race is
full and no late entries for this race I’m afraid
Looking forward to a fantastic day on Sunday!!

There has been a great response again this year, please note
that all remaining entries should be in by this Friday 8th May. This
allows time to process the entry and post your number back. You can enter late
or on the day for the half marathon, but it costs £20 so it’s better to part
with the cash sooner really!! For the 2 mile junior race please note we can’t
take late entries on the day though.
So far we have 298 entries for the half marathon, including 92
visitors which is brilliant! Also the junior race has 58 entries. I reckon
there are still quite a few not entered yet, judging by the number of people I
spoke to this morning at the Andy Coughlan 10 saying they’d get their entry in
this week!
Also had a chat with Bryce Alford who mentioned that he will
again be acting as a 1:30 pacemaker for the race, so if that’s your goal Bryce
will be the man to keep an eye on! I’m not sure if he’ll have a flag or not,
but hopefully he’ll employ some technique or other to make himself conspicuous
at the start!! We’ll definitely ask him to give a wave! Bryce is a mind and
body coach and has set up his own company which you can read about at http://www.infinityfitness.tv/
Numbers and race info have already been sent to all those
entries so far received.... really starting to look forward to the big day now!
I hope the training is going well
We still need a few more marshals to help out on the day so if
you are able to help please e-mail me at paul.raimbault@jerseymail.co.uk
or tel. 857987. Don’t forget if you marshal you get the T-shirt too!!
Alderney has been in touch.... they’ll be handing out entry
forms at the race and generally promoting their
half marathon on 5th September, check out the details at www.alderney-half-marathon.org
See you on race day
Paul
The race information documents below give details of the day and
we will post you a copy with your number.
