Here are some
pictures on route, from the start through the country side and onto the finish
in St.Ouens Bay, with those spectacular views across the bay which is always a
welcome sight!
The start area when setting
up the day before, including Les Fontaine Tavern, which is just across the road
from the start. A visit before the race isn't recommended! Though we usually
set our Hash run from there the day after the race and finish with a welcome
beer, which is definately highly recommended!

Some
extra help with setting up the course from mini race officials Matthew (in the
van) and Peter

Just
after the start, the view from the cliff tops of Jersey's North coast

Now we are about a mile or so into the race....

This
is the view as you pass the top of Bouley bay hill.... if you know this hill
you'll be very glad that you don't actually run up it on race day though!

This
is heading down St. Lawrence main road to the Carefore Selous at about 5
miles...

Not
long to go now during the 11th mile the view as you head down into St. Ouens
bay and onto the finish is spectacular!

Almost
at the finish now, it’s only about 200M down the road now ... phew!

A
previous year's race getting underway ..... hope to see you for the one!

This
is Matthew collecting his T-shirt (year's ago) after the junior race. The
junior race is a circuit of just under 2 miles though the country side of St
Ouens, finishing across the same line as the half marathon
